LeapFrog Investments is reportedly planning to launch new fundraises in the coming months.

LeapFrog Investments landed a key hire this week with the appointment of Dominic Barton as chair of the global impact manager’s board of directors. Barton, who previously was global managing partner of the financial consulting giant McKinsey & Company, will serve as non-executive chairman of LeapFrog’s management board, according to a statement. He will oversee the firm’s strategy to invest in the financial services and healthcare sectors in Asia and Africa.

LeapFrog has raised $2 billion for its impact strategy, including $744 million for its Emerging Consumer Fund III. The firm is reportedly planning to launch multiple new fundraises in the coming months.
