In brief: Inflexion hires ESG director

The European PE firm has appointed the former head of ESG at British American Tobacco.

Inflexion has hired its first dedicated ESG professional. Jennie Galbraith joins the firm as ESG director from FTSE 100 company British American Tobacco. The firm has £5.4 billion ($7.3 billion; €6.5 billion) under management.

Elsewhere in ESG exec moves: UBS has hired Therése Lennehag from EQT to head up its ESG advisory team in Europe, notes affiliate title Responsible Investor (subscription or registration required). Lennehag, who is currently EQT’s head of sustainability, joined the firm in 2009 and was promoted to head of responsible investment in 2014.
