In brief: Moonfare signs up to PRI

The investment platform has channeled more than €900m of HNW money into private equity, it says.

Moonfare, a digital fundraising platform, has signed up to the UN Principles for Responsible Investment, the firm said on Wednesday. Moonfare has grown into a credible fundraising platform, and has committed capital to funds managed by the likes of KKR, EQT, Permira, Cinven and others.

Founded in 2017 by former KKR executives Steffen Pauls and Alexander Argyros, Moonfare is one of a handful of organisations connecting some of the industry’s biggest GPs with investors that would traditionally have been unable to meet a large private equity fund’s minimum commitment. Over 16,000 of its users have invested more than €900 million in private markets funds, the firm says.

The UN PRI has more than 4,000 signatories worldwide.
