Hilario Albarracín, chairman of KPMG in Spain, joins the committee.

Spanish private equity firm Nazca Capital has recruited Hilario Albarracín, former chairman of KPMG in Spain, to join its ESG committee. Nazca’s ESG committee has been in place since 2016, the firm said in a press release.

It has six members, whose mission is to define the strategic plans of the management company and portfolio entities in the short, medium and long term, linking part of the investment team’s salary to the success of ESG initiatives. Nazca has more than €500 million across five funds.

Albarracín served as chair of KPMG in Spain from 2016 until October this year, having spent a total of 28 years at the business.
