Debt manager Oak Hill Advisors has tapped SASB’s head of private investments.

Jeffrey Cohen, Oak Hill Advisors

Oak Hill Advisors, a $57 billion-AUM private debt firm, has appointed Jeffrey Cohen as its first head of ESG and corporate sustainability. Cohen will join Oak Hill’s ESG committee, and develop sustainability metrics across Oak Hill’s portfolios and ESG-related investment solutions, a statement from Oak Hill said. He will report to Oak Hill president Bill Bohnsack.

Cohen was head of private investments initiatives at the Value Reporting Foundation, which developed the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board. He previously held roles at impact investment firm Sonen Capital and investment advisories JAC and Venovate.

Oak Hill is targeting $2.5 billion for its tactical investment fund, launched in 2020. The firm was acquired by T Rowe Price in December 2021 but retains its brand identity.
