The New Private Markets team wishes all of our readers a happy, heathy holiday season. 2021 marked the beginning of our publication – we went live at the end of March – and we have learned a lot in nine months. We’ve tracked developments in fund economics, reporting frameworks and ESG-linked debt. We’ve seen investors and managers aligning their investment approach with sustainability themes, confident that they will deliver impact with enhanced, rather than compromised, financial returns. Our research team took on the unenviable task of identifying managers with impact for our inaugural Impact 20, our most-read story of the year.
