Bain Capital Ventures, Union Square Ventures’ founder Fred Wilson and Tiger Global have an appetite for impact: they are among the investors in a first-time “mission-driven” fund. Gutter Capital has raised $25 million to invest in start-ups addressing environmental and social issues including carbon emissions reduction, climate change resilience, economic mobility and affordability of essential services such as healthcare, education and housing.
