In brief: BeyondNetZero invests growth capital in waste management

General Atlantic has invested from its climate change fund, which is targeting $4 billion.

General Atlantic’s climate investing venture BeyondNetZero has provided growth capital to early-stage waste management company RoadRunner Recycling. BeyondNetZero, which is targeting $4 billion for its inaugural fundraise, committed $70 million in Series D funding to RoadRunner, which is using machine-learning technology to recycle waste efficiently.
