In brief: Blue Earth registers impact fund

The impact house peeling itself from Partners Group is also in the market with a $300m climate fund.

Blue Earth Capital has registered a global impact fund in Luxembourg “to make investments in corporate private equity and corporate private debt assets”. New Private Markets understands this vehicle is for a individual client mandate, rather than a commingled fund. The mandate business is an offering the firm’s new chief executive, Stephen Marquardt, plans to grow.

Blue Earth, the impact firm built by Partners Group’s founders, is also raising a $300 million-target Climate Growth Fund. The firm declined to comment on the new vehicle.
