In brief: Climate data platform links up with EDCI

The service provider is currently used by firms including MiddleGround Capital, New Mountain Capital and Blue Wolf Capital.

Gravity Climate, a technology business that helps organisations map, report and plan around their emissions, has become a formal supporter of the EDCI, the company said on Tuesday. The EDCI is an ESG data-sharing initiative with more than 375 GP and LP members, who have agreed on a set of ESG metrics to gather and report.

Gravity is currently used by private equity firms including MiddleGround Capital, New Mountain Capital and Blue Wolf Capital. As part of the arrangement it will share data with the EDCI “on an automated basis”, the company said. “The integration includes automatic data collection with the EDCI framework, a one-click submission, and automated validation checks for a more streamlined process.”
