In brief: Debt provider Hayfin hires new head of ESG

The London-based firm has hired Caoimhe Bain from an investment adviser as private markets interest in ESG-linked credit soars.

European private credit firm Hayfin Capital Management has hired a responsible investment specialist to lead its integration of ESG finance practices.

Caoimhe Bain joins the London-based firm from Hymans Robertson, where she consulted on implementing the investment adviser’s sustainable investment framework. Baine said in a statement that she will work with Hayfin’s ESG and audit and risk committees, as well as its investment teams, to “support the firm’s responsible investment efforts across the business lines.”
