In brief: Derbyshire LGPS publishes climate report

A report from Derbyshire Pension Fund lays out its approach to climate, and makes recommendations for future improvement.

Derbyshire Pension Fund, a UK Local Government Pension Scheme, has invested 30 percent of its portfolio in low carbon and sustainable investments, according to its latest climate risk management report.

Disclosed as part of its investments committee meeting, the report assesses the fund’s climate risk management framework and disclosure practices, and analyses how it measures its carbon footprint. It also makes a number of recommendations for how the fund can further develop its climate management structures. Read it here.

Derbyshire Pension Fund holds £5.9 billion (€6.9 billion; $7.5 billion) of assets, according to its website. It has allocated to sustainable funds including Bridges Property Alternatives Fund IV and Impax New Energy Investors II, according to the New Private Markets database.
