In brief: EQT adds to impact advisory bench

The listed private markets firm has added four impact advisers to work with its team on EQT Future, the private equity impact fund it is raising.

EQT has added to its roster of impact advisors, appointing a new member to its ‘Mission Board’ and four impact advisors to feed into the investment processes of its EQT Future Fund.

Joining the mission board, which exists to provide “external competence, credibility and objectivity to the fund’s strategic direction” is Henrietta Fore, a former executive director of UNICEF and a US public policy veteran.

The four impact advisers, who will “actively participate” in the fund’s investment processes, according to the press release, are: Laurie Spengler, founder of Courageous Capital Advisors; Nicola Kimm, chief sustainability officer of HeidelbergCement; Stefan Ranstrand, former CEO of recycling business TOMRA; and Valerie Mosley, a former partner at Wellington Management Company.

EQT Future is the firm’s private equity impact fund, which it is raising with a target of €4 billion.
