In brief: Ex-ADIA PE head joins impact manager

Conduit Capital is targeting $500m in commitments for its sustainable credit platform and is launching a fund of funds.

London-based firm Conduit Capital has hired Georges Sudarskis as chairperson and Meg Brown as deputy CEO.

Sudarskis is an experienced private markets operator who served as global head of private equity for Abu Dhabi Investment Authority for more than a decade, before leaving in 2009 to set up his own firm, Sudarskis & Partners.

Brown joined Conduit from Impax Asset Management, where she was chief product and marketing officer, according to a press release.

Conduit Capital is a fund management platform set up by The Conduit, a UK-headquartered private members club for people with sustainability expertise. The group also includes Conduit Connect, a vehicle established in 2018 through which members could act as angel investors for early-stage companies seeking to deliver positive impact.

Conduit Capital hopes to raise $500 million for a sustainable credit platform and is also in the process of raising a fund of funds focused on climate investing, Brown told New Private Markets.
