In brief: Permira builds ESG team with PwC veteran

The firm now has a six-strong ESG team, led by private markets influencer Adinah Shackleton.

Private equity and credit firm Permira has added a sixth dedicated ESG professional, hiring 12-year PwC veteran Jennifer McCraight to focus on ESG integration across the firm’s European and Asian private equity portfolios.

Permira operates strategies across buyouts, growth equity and private credit and has €77 billion in assets under management, according to New Private Markets‘ database. Its six-strong ESG team is led by Adinah Shackleton, who was recently listed in our list of 50 influencers in sustainable private markets. McCraight joined Permira in December.
