Rockefeller Foundation and HarbourVest Partners are among the investors to have backed Transition Global I, a venture capital fund managed by London-headquartered GP Transition, Companies House filings show.

Transition Global I was registered with Companies House in 2022. The firm makes seed and series A investments in companies focused on the climate transition, according to its website.

Other LPs listed on Companies House include: Denmark’s Export and Investment Fund; The Grantham Foundation for the Protection of the Environment, Eutopia Ventures and Illusian Ventures.

The filings do not disclose the size of the commitments. The firm did not respond when contacted by New Private Markets.
