In brief: Stafford Capital chooses new sustainability head

Marta Jankovic has joined Stafford’s Rotterdam office and will lead the firm's sustainable investing strategy.

Ex-APG Asset Management senior consultant Marta Jankovic has become Stafford Capital‘s new head of sustainability, according to a statement.

Stafford Capital Partners has a number of private markets products spanning private equity, secondaries, timberland and private credit. The London-based firm launched a carbon offset fund in December 2022 with a $1 billion fundraising target. The fund has since reached a $242 million first close.

Based in Stafford’s Rotterdam office, Jankovic will be responsible for shaping the firm’s sustainable investing strategy. In her previous role, she advised APG’s private markets teams on implementing sustainable finance disclosure regulation.

Jankovic marks the third significant hire Stafford has made in recent months. Former IFM head of relationships Valentina Abbott and Amundi veteran Joe Carrabes joined Stafford’s client solutions team in June and July respectively.
