In brief: Summa plans California office

The sustainability-focused private equity firm has also signed a lease on an office in Munich.

Summa Equity, the sustainability-focused European private equity firm, will open a US office later this year. The firm plans to open an office in California in the autumn, wrote founder and managing partner Reynir Indahl, in a letter to contacts this week. “Our team keeps on growing,” he said, noting that the firm – which started life in the Nordics – has also now signed a lease for an office in Munich. Readers of New Private Markets may remember reading about plans to enter the US market in July last year. Summa is currently investing its €2.3 billion Fund III.
