In brief: Temasek-founded ABC Impact launches Fund II, Nikkei Asia reports

ABC Impact is reportedly targeting $600m for its sophomore fund.

ABC Impact, an impact firm founded by Temasek Trust – the philanthropic arm of Singapore’s state-backed investor – has launched its second fund, Nikkei Asia reported last week. The fund has a $600 million target, according to Nikkei Asia’s report. ABC Impact declined to comment on the matter.

The firm raised S$405 million ($305 million; €284 million) for its first fund, ABC World Asia, with commitments from Temasek Holdings and Pavilion Capital, according to PEI Group’s database. The first fund focuses on climate change, resource scarcity and social inequality themes.
