ThomasLloyd, a renewable energy investor focused on Asia, has recruited a former Asian Development Bank executive as its head of impact and ESG.

Smita Nakhooda was responsible for integrating the UN SDGs into the ADB’s investment policies, and also worked on the development of its “impact measurement and management standards”, ThomasLloyd said in a statement.

The firm has invested in solar and biomass plants across India and the Philippines. Nakhooda is an Indian national, who worked in the Philippines for six years, according to her LinkedIn profile. She is now based in Zurich, Switzerland.
