In brief: Trill Impact registers venture fund

Trill's venture strategy focuses on three themes: green tech, life sciences and 'impact enablers' such as digitalisation and industrial efficiencies to reduce emissions, waste and resource usage.

Trill Impact, the Stockholm-headquartered impact fund manager, is raising a venture capital fund. The firm registered Trill Impact Ventures with the SEC last week, with an initial incorporation date of 2022 for the fund. Trill did not respond to requests for comment on fundraising status or target size prior to publication.

Trill’s venture strategy focuses on three themes: green tech, life sciences and “impact enablers” (eg, digitalisation and industrial efficiencies to reduce emissions, waste and resource usage), according to the firm’s website. It is co-headed by partners Alex Domin and Nina Rawal.

Acalyx Advisors, a US placement agent, has been appointed to market the fund, the SEC filing states. Trill’s flagship first growth equity fund, which closed at €900 million in 2021, was marketed in North America by Acalyx and in Europe by Campbell Lutyens. Trill is currently also raising its second growth fund.
