UBS Asset Management has appointed its first head of impact investing: Narina Mnatsakanian, who previously managed fund commitments from wealth manager Kempen Capital Management’s global impact pool. The news was first reported by Citywire Selector.
At UBS AM, Mnatsakanian will work on impact measurement and management frameworks across private and public markets and develop new private and listed impact products. Amsterdam-based Mnatsakanian sits in UBS AM’s sustainable investing team, which is led by Lucy Thomas.
Among UBS AM’s recent impact fund commitments are Bridges’ first buyout fund and Rethink Capital Partners’ second fund, according to PEI Group’s database.
