In brief: Vision Ridge hires Macquarie exec to lead Europe push

Vision Ridge Partners, a sustainable real assets firm and one of the world’s largest managers of private markets impact capital, has appointed a head of Europe to lead dealmaking in the region.

Ramzi Moubarak, formerly managing director on Macquarie Capital’s infrastructure and energy capital team in Europe, has joined Vision Ridge with immediate effect, the firm said on Tuesday. Moubarak most recently led value-add infrastructure investing and co-lead energy transition investing for Macquarie in Europe. He has also had spells with Montagu Private Equity’s infrastructure business and Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners.

Vision Ridge, which is headquartered in Boulder, Colorado, opened its Europe office in London in October last year.
