Gas company Saudi Aramco has unveiled a $1.5bn fund focused on energy transition. It will be managed by Aramco Ventures, the company's venture capital arm.
Fund III raised $126m from about 70 LPs, including Bank of America, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana, Cambridge Associates, Ford Foundation and Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation.
Patrizia AG, a global manager of real estate and infrastructure assets, has held a first close on €50 million ($52.8 million) for a new fund called Sustainable Futures Ventures.
