Liverpool Partners, a private equity firm based in Sydney, Australia, is recruiting for a head of impact and two impact investing associates. “Due to the raise of substantial new capital, a new and exciting role has been created, necessitating the search for an experienced investment professional to head up the impact investing strategy,” a job ad on LinkedIn states.
Liverpool Partners held a first close in 2021 on its first impact vehicle, collecting A$350 million ($262 million; €225 million) to invest across PE, venture capital, unlisted infrastructure and renewables. The firm is targeting a final close on between A$400 million to A$450 million, according to a report in the Australian Financial Review.
The new hires would work on the firm’s impact platform, called Inspire Impact, as well as “working alongside the private equity team to develop new and innovative private equity investments with a strong social and environmental conscience”, the ad states.
